Early in the year for preparation for the summer shows in DRESSAGE & COMBINED TRAINING, as well as the FUN SPEED GAMES ON HORSEBACK, open to all disciplines, with a chance to win $. Prizes awarded to the winner of the series as well. The purpose of SUNNY SANDS on military installations is to bring the military and various equestrian communities together: an inexpensive, educational and FUN show for horse-people as well as free days of entertainment and education for the military, on their own turf. This will be the last year of the show being held at Fort Lee, VA, so be a part of history and come ride or just watch for free.

NCDCTA recognized. Open to everyone. Dressage from Intro on up and USEA tests Beginner Novice on up. Jumping from Amoeba "ground poles" to Novice (2'11"). Also, jump schooling available same day. Special award to horse and rider for best groomed. Each rider will be given oral and written feedback. No eliminations, but further jumping and dressage instruction and allowed to continue on safely. Team, Pair, Individual Junior and Senior competition. Open to everyone! Optional 100% Payback Jackpots for each event to 6th place. Ribbons to 8th place if you want to pay into the jackpot. Points to 10th place for overall Champion and Reserve Champion in each division. Prizes for many classes! Western and English tack is accepted. These are really relaxed days of fun games on horseback. You can ride as many times or as few as you'd like. Pre-entries are preferred and partial refunds will be given based on how early you enter, Also, if there are at least 25 pre-entries one lucky pre-entry will show for FREE! Reduced rates for all members of 4-H, Pony Club, USEA, USAEq, NCDCTA, CDCTA or PRA. Electronic laser timer for accuracy.
