MARE CENTER SEEKS BROODMARE DONATIONS

The Virginia Tech Middleburg MARE Center is seeking broodmare donations to expand its herd. The MARE Center's yearlings which are auctioned annually are produced by these donated mares. Because of our recent success we will be able to add another nine pregnant mares to our herd this fall, " said Communications Director Catherine Larmore. "We have put together a panel of experts from large breeding farms in the area to help us go through the selection process of mares offered to the Center in order obtain certain bloodlines that we feel will greatly add to our program."
