"Hereosaurus Rex"), is a talented hunter prospect for the regular and TB hunter divisions, or continue his fox hunting career. He retired sound from racing. He has top form over fences, easy lead changes, is a lovely hunter mover, and also brave! He likes to go slow, but can easily pick up the pace when asked to do so. Goes side-saddle, and has x-c schooled. He is currently jumping courses to 2'9" at home, and has hunted eleven times - once in the first field, and ten times in the hilltoppers/second field, with Piedmont Fox Hounds and Middleburg Hunt. Goes in a rubber snaffle for everything, doesn't pull, stands at checks, easy to do in all ways with perfect manners, not spooky. No vices, very sound, and clean legs except for an old, cold splint on his hind leg. His flat work is very very good, very flexible and accepts contact, but he is still green on jumping courses. However, he is easy enough to be finished by a junior or amateur with a trainer. He is the same in the ring whether ridden every day or every 10 days.There are several videos on youtube under CherryBlossomFarmVA. |
