I have two horses potentially up for lease, or possibly switch between the two! I will be riding also, so this is a partial lease on one horse or can be more of a full lease if switching between the two which would give more ride time.

Lease fee dependent on if you are leasing one or two, ride up to 4x a week on each. That includes two lessons with my dressage/event trainer per month which are mandatory. Both of my horses have had a lot of training and I want to keep them going well. Showing available at the riders cost.

"Sophie" is a 15yo 14.3h Friesian/Morgan mare. Don't let height fool you, she is a big bodied mare used for eventing and dressage. She has gone through Training level eventing and schooled some prelim, 3'6" jumpers, and second level dressage. At home she has schooled up to 4'. Sophie is extremely honest to fences, but can get quick. For flat, Sophie is schooling through 2nd level dressage, working into 3rd level, and has regularly done dressage shows and clinics the past two years. Sophie tries her heart out at everything and is worth her weight in gold because of it. She is an irreplaceable partner. She carries herself well, when asked, but Sophie will make you work for it and therefore make you a better rider. Sophie will go beautifully if you ride properly, so she makes a great teacher, she's forgiving and honest! Sophie's movement is gorgeous and she always places very well in dressage and is double clear jumping. No vices, super easy to handle and show. This mare has a beautiful work ethic.

"Leo" is a 8yo 15.1h Kiger/Thoroughbred cross gelding. He has a lot of potential but has had a slow start due to lack of time on my part. He is athletic and enjoys jumping and is doing small courses and intro level dressage. He has schooled 3'6 but shown at 2'. Leo is pretty easy to ride, relaxed and consistent, but can be more push than pull typically unless you demand energy at the beginning. As his training goes on he is getting more forward under saddle and really holds himself well. I would still consider him somewhat green and would prefer an intermediate rider with him although he has had beginners on him fairly often for walk/trot lessons and is an uncomplicated ride. There is a lot of potential with Leo he just needs more miles under saddle. Pretty straight forward and easy.

Lease duties include riding and feeding them the days you ride. For more information please check the website and contact Meagan for a test ride! Im looking for solid riders with a good base, no beginners please.
