Hi Horsey Friends,
I am putting out feelers as the approach of Fall gets closer and my farm season comes to an end.
I am hoping to find barn work during the winter months of December thru March. Ideally something around 20-30 hrs a week.
I come with years of experience and excellent and recent references.
I am comfortable with all manner of horses from high end show horses to your kind retired field horses and everything in between. I choose to farm for a living so you can be certain Im not afraid of hard work.
I am located in Lovettsville and would appreciate staying within 25 mins of this area but am willing to talk about commuting further with the right person/barn.
First aid, addressing wounds, noticing injuries and illness are all things within my scope of knowledge and I can assure you that your horses will receive the best care possible.
Hoping to find an easy-going barn that is in need of an extra set of hands for mucking, feeding, turnout- the standard stuff. Please keep in mind that this will be only the winter months and I'll be back to growing food once Spring returns.
If any of this sounds like something that would match your barn, please reach out!
Thanks for your time and consideration,
Charlotte
