Phone: 757 848 8363 Horseback riding lessons are provided here at Hickory Meadows Stable for $25 per hour. Private or semi-private lessons are available during the weekdays after 4:30pm until June (lesson availability will change to all 7 days). The instructor, Elena Conwell, has been riding for almost 12 years riding in different disciplines such as eventing to hunt seat and some gaming. She is currently working her way up to the Novice level in eventing. Elena was previously in the United States Pony Club rated as a C-1 and was a C advisor for a D-rally last year. She has always had a great interest in teaching and began over a year ago teaching kids from around the ages of 6 to 13. She helps her students to create a center of balance with the horse as well as how to correctly, and safely deal with the horse from on the ground to being mounted.
