Riding lessons available on our horse or bring your own! We strive to offer a fun and relaxed atmosphere while helping our riders to achieve their absolute best. All of our horses are individually selected for their temperament and abilities in order to help each student learn and be successful. Our barn is full of wonderful people who put the care of each horse as the absolute top priority. Whether you just want to enhance your skills as a rider, or you want to compete, we welcome you to Southern Heritage as a great place to meet friendly people who share your passion for horses!

Our trainer, Lucy Drinkwater, has competed internationally in Eventing. In addition to bringing multiple horses up through the levels of eventing, she has competed at ‘A' hunter/jumper shows and fox hunted with Piedmont Fox Hounds. She has earned top results in Area VIII and II on numerous horses including year end awards in eventing.

With a passion for teaching young riders and adult amateurs the sport, she loves seeing her riders shine. Her positive coaching makes each lesson fun and exciting while riders develop the skills and confidence to progress with their riding and horsemanship.
