Full board and training for horses and ponies age 4 and up with established trainer/barn manager with nearly 40 years of multi-discipline experience. Safe, low key barn, not a busy lesson barn. Sand ring with jumps, open areas on the farm and great hacking with hills, woods, water crossings, fields just 5 minutes from Middleburg. Lessons and training start with solid ground work, focus on effective position and correct use of aids, working toward a relaxed, harmonious partnership. Hacking out is a big part of the program for horses and riders of all levels. Trainer has a Pony Club, showjumping and eventing background and hunted 17 seasons as a pro with Orange County Hounds. Depth of experience also includes endurance riding, dressage and showing young horses in hand, especially Connemaras. All breeds welcome! |
